Refund Policy
Last updated: 19 May 2026
1. The short version
twig.tools subscriptions are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time and you will not be charged again, but we do not refund payments already made — including for partial billing periods.
2. Cancel anytime
You can cancel your subscription whenever you like from your account page, or by emailing twig.tools.community@gmail.com. When you cancel:
- You keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
- You are not charged again.
- No further refunds are issued for the time remaining on the period you have already paid for.
3. No refunds
Because the Service is delivered as a digital service that begins as soon as you subscribe, we do not offer refunds for:
- Periods you have already paid for, in part or in full.
- Forgetting to cancel before renewal.
- Limited use of the Service during a paid period.
- Downgrading from a paid plan to the free plan mid-period.
4. UK and EU statutory cooling-off — please read
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you would normally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (and equivalent EU implementing legislation of the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU).
Because the Service begins immediately on payment so that you can use it straight away, by subscribing you:
- Expressly request that performance of the contract begin immediately, before the end of the 14-day cancellation period; and
- Acknowledge that you lose the statutory right of cancellation once performance has begun.
If you do not agree to waive that right, do not subscribe to a paid plan — the free tier is available without payment.
5. Exceptions we may make
We may issue a refund or credit at our discretion in genuinely exceptional cases, including:
- A duplicate or accidental charge.
- A charge made after you cancelled, caused by an error on our side.
- A prolonged service outage that we have publicly acknowledged.
- Any case in which non-statutory consumer-protection law requires a refund.
Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
6. How to request a refund
Email twig.tools.community@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. Include the date of the charge, the amount, and a short description of why you are requesting a refund. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
7. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, we may suspend your account while the dispute is investigated. Please email us first — in most cases we can resolve the issue more quickly than a chargeback can.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer-protection law in your country of residence.
